Yes you can. When you have your induction, you will be provided with an app to upload to your mobile phone. On this app will be all the available shifts for your qualification. You may select any shifts and wait for them to be confirmed.
All training that is required for your qualification will be discussed at your induction and procedures forwarded to you to complete.
Yes, you need to complete a digital or paper timesheet. If timesheets are missing, please contact your local office immediately.
Generally, no. However, we encourage you pick shifts every week to remain active in the system.

Yes, we are regularly approached by sites outside of the metro area for staff. This is generally for a few weeks at a time and this is usually to cover their staff to go on holidays. This can range from Albany to Kununurra.
You will be paid directly into your nominated bank account. Pay week is Monday to Sunday. Time sheets are processed on Mondays and Tuesdays and you should receive your payslip by Wednesday afternoon. Depending on your bank, monies should be in your bank by Thursday. Any questions regarding your pay are to always be emailed to payroll@connectstaffing.com.au

You can choose your own shifts through our user-friendly mobile app. You will be familiarised to use the app once you are ready to commence work.
You can do as many shifts as you are capable of doing. This is entirely up to you. We do recommend to at least do a couple to keep your skills and training active. We also recommend not doing double shifts unless they are only short shifts.
You will be notified on the app if your shift gets cancelled. You will need to acknowledge the cancellation before you can see and select a new shift.
All the shifts that have been booked will show on the app under 'my shifts'.
If you forgot to sign, please call your local office. We will place a note on your shift for payroll. Ideally if you can return and sign that would be appreciated.
If you get to your shift and the facility staff say you are not needed, you need to call the office. Please stay at the facility until we can work out what the reason is for them not requiring you. If they forgot to cancel they still have to pay you a specific amount of hours.
Yes we have uniforms for staff. Chefs will need to provide their own.
If you have been asked to extend your shift, you should ask the facility to email or call us at the office. Sometimes this is not possible, so you can call and inform us, and then we will confirm with the facility. Once confirmed we will then amend your shift, and this will update on your shift on the app. Always make sure this is done before you submit your timesheet.
Our allocators are available from 05:00 till 23:00.

If you can’t make it for your shift, you must provide a minimum of four hours notice so that replacement can be managed. Please call your local office immediately if you are running late. We don’t encourage any lateness for work.
If you require to cancel a booked shift you will need to call the office and inform one of our Allocations team members.
If you need to replace part or all of your uniform please call the office to arrange a time. You will then attend the office to try on and collect the uniform.
